چکیده

This paper provides new insights into the currently available extended linear matrix inequality (LMI) conditions for control of discrete-time linear systems, motivating the use of two intrinsically different extended LMI characterizations for H2 performance. While these conditions are equivalent for H2 analysis and many H2 control problems related to precisely known linear time-invariant (LTI) systems, they generally yield different results when employed for multi-objective H2/H∞ control and H2 analysis and control of uncertain linear systems. The advantage of considering both the H2 LMIs for robust H2 state feedback and multi-objective H2/H∞ control design is demonstrated by means of exhaustive numerical comparisons.

Mixed H_2/H_infinity Control of Discrete-Time Markovian Jump Systems Via Static Output-Feedback Controllers

This paper investigates the static output-feedback mixed H2/H∞ control problem of discrete-time Markovian jump systems from a novel perspective. Unlike traditional methods, the closed-loop system is represented as an augmented form, in which input and gain-output matrices are decoupled. By virtue of the augmented representation, new characterizations on stochastic stability and H2/H∞ performanc...

Admissibility analysis for discrete-time singular systems with time-varying delays by adopting the state-space Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model

This paper is pertained with the problem of admissibility analysis of uncertain discrete-time nonlinear singular systems by adopting the state-space Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model with time-delays and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. Lyapunov Krasovskii functionals are constructed to obtain delay-dependent stability condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which is dependent on the low...

Linear matrix inequality approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data control

In this paper, linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks (FCNNs) with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data controlis investigated. Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional combining with the input delay approach as well as the free-weighting matrix approach are employed to derive several sufficient criteria in terms of...

FINITE-TIME PASSIVITY OF DISCRETE-TIME T-S FUZZY NEURAL NETWORKS WITH TIME-VARYING DELAYS

This paper focuses on the problem of finite-time boundedness and finite-time passivity of discrete-time T-S fuzzy neural networks with time-varying delays. A suitable Lyapunov--Krasovskii functional(LKF) is established to derive sufficient condition for finite-time passivity of discrete-time T-S fuzzy neural networks. The dynamical system is transformed into a T-S fuzzy model with uncertain par...

Robust and Gain-Scheduled H_Infinity Synthesis of LFT Parameter-Dependent Systems

In this paper, we solve the robust H2 synthesis problem for linear fractional transformation (LFT) systems affected by white noise disturbances. Using an intermediate matrix, we develop robust and gain-scheduling control synthesis conditions in linear matrix inequality (LMI) forms. The newly proposed robust H2 control approach has been applied to several examples, and demonstrated less conserva...
